Unfortunately it was closed when we went otherwise I am sure we would have given it 5 stars. Even still the outdoor exhibitions were available and my 3yo lived them!

This is a nice museum with a courteous and very knowledgeable staff. They have a historic film they show there that is well worth the time and the gift shop is probably better than the Smoky Mountains Heritage Center. GREAT handmade lye soap that they sell there!

Very nice little museum. Lots of information packed in a small space.

A small railroad museum with a detailed history of early logging in the smokies. Gives a real perspective of what life was like back in the day. Great place to visit.

So much information available for those who want to know about the national park before it was a park and the rail/lumber history of the area. Volunteer on staff was full of information! Nice gift shop to.
