My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at Misty Morning Cafe. Our chicken tenders were large, crispy and delicious. The hand cut fries reminded us of those we've always enjoyed at the county fair, especially with a splash of malt vinegar. The owner was very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely eat here again if we're in the area!
If you are looking for ambience this is not the place. HOWEVER, if you want outstanding food stop here. My wife and granddaughter had lunch here. They had pancakes which they both raved as best ever. My BLT basket was scrumptious. ..real bacon. Try the smoked potato. ..never heard of one but it was excellent. They had unlimited fries but glad I opted for baking potato.

Randomly stopped here while in town for my wedding on a Friday for lunch last month. Unbelievably good food. The fries are to die for and bottomless. Not to mention the owner is a heck of a guy. Very friendly and makes sure you are taken care of. Not sure when I’ll be back that way, however you can bet that when I am this will be my first stop for lunch! Really tasty. I had the Ruben which was good (won't say the best I've ever had but still very good) I had the smoked baked potato with it. That potato was dynamite, so very good. My wife had the Philly cheese steak and really liked it. If you get the basket you get endless homemade fries that were also very good. Prices were reasonable and the service fast, friendly and very attentive. Will defiantly be back. Also of note they had a health inspection score of 99 posted. Great little place.
Best little known restaurant in Townsend. Small but worth eating there. Owners are awesome and make you feel like you've known them forever.
