Great visitor center. Love the log building and they have wonderful ole Time festivals throughout the year
The Fall Festival and Old Timers Day was the event that we were attending at the Townsend Visitors Center (TVC). The TVC is the venue of a number of community events in addition to being a source of information everyday for the entire area. The TVC is a well maintained community resource.
Always up to date information here. The staff are really in the know on what's happening in the area. There is plenty of free parking. There are also chargers for electric car & clean rest rooms. There usually is some sort of crafting going on in the room adjoining the visitor center. The center's store is full of great merchandise too. Lots of maps, nooks, clothing & more. There are brochures on things to do & maps.
